What “Semi-Private” Means at Apex Fitness
This is not a bootcamp and it’s not open gym.
Semi-private training means you train in a small group (max 6 people), but you still receive the benefits of personal training. Unlike most “fitness classes,” our sessions are capped at 6 members so we can coach you closely, make real-time adjustments, and progress your plan based on your goals and your body.
- Coaching + structure every session
- Personalized progressions based on your goals
- Form correction + accountability so you don’t waste time
- Smart intensity so you get results without burnout
Who Semi-Private Training Is For
This is a great fit if you want:
- Fat loss without living in the gym
- More muscle and a stronger, athletic look
- Real strength (and to keep it long-term)
- Confidence in your body and your movement
- Guidance so you stop guessing what to do
And yes—if you have old aches, previous injuries, or limitations, we’ll work around them intelligently so you can keep progressing safely.
How Training Works
1) Clear starting point
We learn your goals, training history, and starting point—then build the right plan from there.
2) Structured strength training
Every session follows a progression plan. You’ll know what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how it moves you forward.
3) Coaching + real-time adjustments
This is the difference between semi-private coaching and a typical class: you get eyes on you, corrections, and accountability.
4) Progress tracking + upgrades
As you improve, we progress the program. You’re not repeating random workouts—you’re building real results.
Training Styles Within Our Coaching System
While every member follows an individualized progression plan, your sessions may include different training styles depending on your goals, experience level, and phase of training.
- Strength-Focused Sessions — Progressive resistance training designed to build muscle, improve body composition, and increase measurable strength.
- HIIT to Fit — Structured conditioning sessions designed to improve cardiovascular fitness without sacrificing strength.
- Boxing-Based Conditioning — Skill-based conditioning sessions that improve coordination, endurance, and overall athleticism.
- Mobility & Recovery Work — Targeted mobility sessions built into programming to support long-term performance.
Everything runs under the same philosophy: structured progression, individualized adjustments, and intelligent programming. Nothing is random. Everything has purpose.
For dedicated recovery sessions, we also offer Acu-Recovery — a guided class designed to calm the nervous system, reduce tension, and accelerate recovery between training sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a class or personal training?
It’s semi-private personal training. You train in a small group (max 6), but your plan is still individualized and coached in real time.
Do I need experience to start?
No. We scale everything to your current level. You’ll start with a clear plan and progress from there.
What if I have old injuries or limitations?
That’s common. We modify intelligently so you can still build strength and progress safely without stalling out.
How often should I train?
Most members do best with 2–3 sessions per week. We’ll recommend what fits your goal, schedule, and recovery.
Do you offer private coaching too?
Yes. If you want more 1:1 attention, faster acceleration, or a tighter focus on movement limitations, see Private Coaching.
How do I get started?
Book a free consultation. We’ll talk goals, look at your starting point, and map out the best option for you.
Not Sure If Semi-Private Is Right For You?
Some people do best with semi-private coaching. Others need private coaching (more individualized attention, faster acceleration, or a tighter focus on movement limitations).
We’ll help you choose what makes the most sense based on your goals, schedule, and starting point.
